Not all MLM companies are created equal. Some are more
suited to online recruiting than others.
There are specific characteristics to look for when
choosing an MLM company to promote online or when deciding
to use the internet to generate leads for your existing MLM
opportunity.
First and foremost is this: are your prospects able to
enroll in your program without ever contacting you or
anyone at your MLM company.
This is the ideal situation because it is letting the
internet do 100% of the work for you while you focus on
your prospecting process.
The "Ideal Online MLM Company" will have the following in
place:
* A powerful sales page with opt-in form so that when your
prospects enter the site to explore the opportunity their
names have been added to your prospect list for follow-up.
* A low cost short term trial offer so they can "test
drive" the business before making a full commitment. This
should be less than $5 and for a period of no more than 3
weeks. We want this to be very affordable and to give them
sufficient time (but not too much) to evaluate the
opportunity before making a decision.
*It is way better to have a small cost associated with
the trial period because it is a filtering process.
Prospects who are willing to enter their credit card
information and pay a small fee have declared that their
level of interest is quite high.
* Powerful audio, video and print presentations to help
them assess whether your opportunity would be appropriate
for them.
" A series of follow-up emails in place to keep the
visitor interested.
* Notification to you immediately they enroll at your site
and again when they enter into the trial period, so you can
begin your own follow up by either email or phone or both
if you so choose.
* A sign up fee of $50 or less which covers the first
months maintenance fee and a maintenance fee of $50 or less
per month.
A second series of emails for the trial period that in
some way incorporates the fear of loss.
There is a company exposing me to this at the moment and
although I don't like their program I must admit it has a
very powerful psychological pull. I get a strong feeling
of: "I don't want to miss out".
I know it will take more associates on your team to
develop volume in a program with low monthly maintenance
requirements like this, but it lends itself much better to
online promotion.
As well as your MLM efforts you'll need a Funded Proposal.
You'll want to be making some sideline money to fund your
marketing.
