How To Generate Traffic Using A Squidoo Lens

Another way to market your business is to use social networking sites. Squidoo, just one of many, is considered a social networking site, however from an internet marketing perspective it is vastly different from the others. One key difference is that, Squidoo lets you sell blatantly without the worry of someone shutting you down. Another unique feature of Squidoo is it an adult social networking site. Thus, making it a great place to market your business as well as interact with other home internet business owners.

Squidoo allows you to create what's called a lens, which is basically an information portal about any topic you want. Squidoo also allows you to sign up and create as many lenses and categories as you want. You can very easily use these lenses to drive targeted traffic to your home internet business sites.

Once you have finished creating your lenses and specifically targeted to your home business niche, you then start socializing with other like minded marketers on this social networking site.

The secret to succeeding in using Squidoo is to provide information that is not only good information, but helpful information to people in your niche who are eager to receive that information. By using a good landing page you can effectively market as well as drive targeted traffic to your home-business opportunity. If you are already a respectable internet marketer then people will be more willing to buy an affiliate's product based on your recommendation.

How To Generate Traffic Using A Squidoo Lens

1. It is vitally important to put your main targeted keyword in your lens title. This is because lenses are pages and they can therefore rank in the search engines like your legitimate home internet business home page.

2. Choose a URL for your lens with your primary keyword. Do remember this, as it will help your search engine rankings too, because that URL is what you'll link to from other places.

3. Tag your lens with other long tail keyword. Look for the Squidoo lens creation wizard to give you the chance to do this when you first set up your lens.

4. One of the most important things you should remember is to add an RSS feed so as to make your lenses popular with search engines. There's a Squidoo module for RSS feeds, and search engines just love that kind of unique, frequently changing content.

5. Update you lens several times a week at minimum. You don't need to make major changes but quick and easy ones, just tweaking a little here and there and click publish. Although an RSS feed will help this, it is equally important that you also add hot new content in your lens.

6. When Squidoo masters recommend you to create many lenses, they actually meant create more specialized lenses based on long tail keywords in your niche. As you would already have a list of your keywords for your niche, you should start to dominate them. If you have a lens on work at home business, for example, you could create a more specialized lens call Work At Home Business For Retirees.

7. Link your related lenses to each other. This is a good technique as it is known to be good traffic building tip. You also build more links and more links means more visitors which ultimately gives you a higher ranking for your Squidoo lenses.

8. Use your lens like it's your blog and link to your legitimate home internet business sites. This is such an easy yet powerful technique. Search engines love Squidoo and so links from a high-ranking lens to your work at home business site can really boost your traffic.

9. Remember that Squidoo is firstly a social networking site so get sociable by visiting other internet marketer's lenses to give comments on their guest book. This also gets you one way links which generate traffic for you too.

10. Now, the trick to Squidoo is to not only have proper keywords in your lens, but to add many keywords to your lens. If your lenses sells a product, more traffic translate to more sales. You can check out what keywords people are typing in the search engines to arrive at your lens and easily add those keywords to your list.

11. Here is the final secret you an use. Mark your lens useful. One good way to make your lens useful is to present your information as a "how-to" lesson within your topic. This helps you build a good lens and your audience finds what they are looking for easily.

How to Make a Fortune Promoting Other People's Products

There must be a reason why some affiliates succeed and some
fail, a reason why some affiliates profit moderately and some
affiliates profit substantially.

There must be a reason.

There is.

And that reason is this: "super" affiliates start, sustain and
strengthen relationships with subscribers.

It begins and ends with a list. Even a small one can be a
powerful, profitable mechanism if you follow these 7
guidelines...

1. CAPTURE THE OPTIN FIRST.

Instead of sending traffic directly to your affiliate link,
send them to YOUR site where you offer some kind of list for
them to join. (Hint: Mini-course works best) Once you have
them on a list, they become an asset. If you send them directly
to an affiliate page and they don't buy, they're gone forever.
On your list, you can follow-up with them
indefinitely.

Note: You can even redirect them to your affiliate link AFTER
they join your list, effectively getting them where you wanted
them to go in the first place.

2. DIFFERENTIATE THE OFFER.

Instead of sending out the same, tired, lame advertisement that
every other affiliate in the world sends out, write your own.
Trust me when I say that many people find it OFFENSIVE when
they receive two dozens duplicate emails from two dozen list
owners all promoting the exact same thing in the exact same way.
And even if they don't find it offensive, it's not as effective
if you simply rinse and repeat what everyone else is doing.

Hint: Here's how you differentiate...

3. SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE.

Nothing - nothing - nothing speaks louder than RESULTS. If you
want to lose a few pounds, who do you turn to? Someone who is
still struggling with their own weight or someone you've seen
drop 35 pounds? Exactly.

The way you make your mailings / ads different is you speak
from your own personal experience. This product or service that
you are promoting as an affiliate, how has it been useful to you
personally? What results have you personally achieved? When you
used it, what happened?

Note: If you haven't personally used the product, then shame
on you for trying to make a quick buck from it hocking it to
others!

4. OFFER A COMPELLING INCENTIVE.

Another way to be different - and to dramatically increase your
chances of getting a sale as an affiliate - is to offer some
kind of compelling incentive if someone buys the offer through
YOUR referral link. Whether it's a special report or access to
an audio recording, personalized consultation or advertising, a
private training call or existing products and services, this
can be a highly effective method of converting fence-setters
into paying customers.

In order for it to work well, it must be UNIQUE (I.E. You're
the only one making the offer) and USEFUL (I.E. Something of
great perceived value to the reader).

Note: Don't have anything to offer? Don't worry! There are
many ways to easily obtain extra incentives: conduct an
interview, hire a ghostwriter to create articles / reports for
you, buy reprint rights to other products, assemble a bunch of
free articles and other resources into a private access site,
etc.

5. LOOK FOR RESIDUAL OPPORTUNITIES.

Rather than exhaust your efforts on purchases that give you a
one-time commission, why not make the most of your marketing by
looking firstly for offers that pay out ONGOING monthly
commissions for your referred sales?

There are many different residual income generating services
such as membership sites (ranging from PT Cruisers to weight
loss), stock photos and clipart, hosting, autoresponders,
databases (from hiking trails to sermon outlines) online
magazines and a variety of other subscription based
opportunities that reward you with monthly recurring commissions.

While you definitely want a mix of types of affiliate programs
to promote, your priority should be in identifying and promoting
those services and programs that will pay you month after month,
instead of only one time.

6. BUILD A SALES ARMY.

One of the biggest untapped sources of income in any list is
that of "turning subscribers into partners". In other words,
find those on your list who are interested in making money and
provide them with training and materials to promote affiliate
programs as well.

This has a two-fold advantage for YOU:

* First, if you find 2-tier affiliate programs, you can get
your subscribers to join the program through your referral.
Anytime they get a sale, you'll earn a commission as well. You
effectively get free commissions from their effort.

* Secondly, you can use their efforts to build your own assets.
For example: If you provide them with a 10-page report to give
away to promote their affiliate link, you can include a page in
the report promoting YOUR list! You effectively get free
subscribers from their effort.


7. MONETIZE FOR MULTIPLE STREAMS.

As your own list continues to grow, you certainly want to
diversify in your offerings. (Not to the point of bombarding
your list with offers every day of course!)

* Promote other affiliate programs.
* Create your own products.
(Even short $10 reports will earn profit!)
* Establish joint ventures.
* Co-author products.
* Cross promote.
* Conduct surveys.

There are MANY ways to make money from you list and keep your
list growing, growing, growing!

Remember, it all comes down to: starting, sustaining and
strengthening relationships with subscribers.

And that's how you make a fortune as an affiliate promoting
other people's products.

Online MLM Success - How To Build a Massive List and Explode your MLM with Co-reg Leads!

The easiest way to build your business online is to have a list that is willing and eager to receive your emails. This applies to your MLM or any marketing business online. That may change down the road, but for today that's the best way to go.

Selling to someone who knows you and trusts you is way easier than just emailing any old list.

What are co-reg leads?

Co-reg leads are people who have answered an ad on the internet and have filled out a multiple choice form where they tick off their areas of interest-they co-register for various lists. When they submit the form they have indicated their willingness to receive information on the topics they selected. And that's all. Their level of interest is usually quite low.

So when we start with co-reg leads we are pretty much starting with "any old list". They're a bit better than that but not much. They have shown an interest in having an online business (among other interests) but that's about all.

Your job is to wean them out and warm them up! You do this via your "free offer" initial incentive (usually a how-to book or report) plus a series of 4 or 5 info packed how-to emails in your follow up email series on your autoresponder before you introduce an offer.

Your next step is to offer them a "how-to" E-Book or software program that will move their online business forward. It doesn't matter if you're an MLM team builder or a straight internet marketer, making product sales is a great thing to do.

In MLM we call this the "Funded Proposal". You use your online list building to pay for your online list marketing costs and if you're good… have some left over to save or spend.

Statistics are that you'll only get to retain 1% of the leads on the low side and up to 10% on the very high side. I'd sort of go with the idea that you're only going to retain 2%.

The big advantage of co-reg leads is that they're very cheap and you can build a list very fast. You can buy 25,000 leads for as little as 0.2 cents per lead from a wholesaler and up to 2 cents and more from a re-seller.

So if you buy from a wholesaler, your qualified warmed up leads that you retain; leads that will buy your front end product and probably even eventually join your MLM team, will cost you 50 times more than your original purchase price (2% is 1/50th retention so multiply the cost per lead by 50)… so that's about 8 cents each from a wholesaler and 80 cents each from a re-seller.

If you find a wholesaler who provides good leads and you can keep out of the Can-spam complaints arena then you can conceivably build a list of 10,000 names for as little as $800 and up to as much as $8000 for re-seller leads.

A list of this size can easily earn you $1000 to $4000 per month and more if you're a good marketer with good products, so I think you can see the potential.

Until you try them out it's pretty much impossible to tell how good the leads will be until you try out each provider and I don't want to get into the referral game here. Just Google "wholesale co-reg leads" and go from there.

Finding an email service provider to send your bulk emails is the next step in the puzzle and I'll cover that in a follow up article.

Working with Co-reg leads is one of the ways a lot of the big pros have used to build such huge lists.

Let's talk about the background business you should be running alongside your MLM to generate your marketing budget… what we call the funded proposal. This is where you offer affiliate products and your own products to your list as well as promoting your MLM online with emails.

So what does it take to make money online?

If you only make 1 cent per visitor to your sales page per month then you'll need 100,000 visitors per month to generate $1000 in income

But if you can raise that to $1 dollar per visitor then it only takes 10,000 visitors per month. Don't let that frighten you… that's only 300 visitors per day which is very achievable as you grow your web presence.

What works best for you… 100,000 or 10,000?

Personally, I would rather make more per visitor than to have billions of visitors - of course, both would be nice - but if I had to make a choice (and I have) I would go for the quality.

I drive the bulk of my traffic to my web site using article marketing. Sure, it is harder work than buying cheap traffic - but it converts way better than any other traffic I get.

So go for the quality traffic. When the chips are down… quality will win out!

You see, with a quality lead, who really wants to read your emails; who comes to value your articles and really wants to learn from you… you will have a subscriber who will buy your product and join your team because you have demonstrated that you stand for quality.

Online MLM Success-How To Use Blogs To Explode Your List!

If you want to build your MLM online then you need a list!

There are a number of ways to get a list and in my opinion we need to be making use of them all.

You can try:

Pay-per-click, Article Writing, Website SEO, Email, Chat Room Postings and Blogs etc.

Today, let's talk about "Blogging"… how will this help you with your list?

Many of the blogs, especially Blogger.com (powered by Google) carry high rankings in the search engines, and they are better candidates for getting good links than just picking any old web site out there.

What's the process to make a blog work?

What I do first is to write a lot of articles and post them to my blog at the same time as I'm posting to my Article Directories. Don't forget to attach your Resource Box or your visitors won't have a way to contact you.

The Search Engine spiders like to see lots of new content to make them happy with your site. They want your visitors to have a rewarding experience when they visit.

With enough articles posted on your blog the search engines will begin to bring you traffic.

The advantage of blogging is that there are no rules to comply with like the Article Directories so you can just make a 100 word post for a quick comment on something that strikes you, if you want.

If you Google "Blog Online MLM Success" without the quotes you'll find my blog if you want to have a look at what I do.

The next thing you want is to attract links from other bloggers. The spiders love inbound links too… but I must tell you I've not really done this aggressively… I tend to rely on the Article Directories for my traffic.

There are a number of ways to get links from blog masters at other blogs.

One way to do it is to simply write the blogs and ask them if they will link to your blog or squeeze page, in exchange for you linking to their blog. If you want traffic to your squeeze page you can set up a page on your web site where you link to other blogs, and put a link to their blog on that page. And remember… if you have your Resource Box on your Blog some of your visitors will visit your squeeze page anyway.

Or you can do this:

Respond to blog posts. Many bloggers will ask their visitors questions, and if you are much like me, usually you simply read other people's responses - but fail to leave one of your own.

However, in many cases, the bloggers will give you a live link to your web site if you will post a response.

Here's what you can do. Check to see that the other blog posts include live links to the posters' web site - then if they do, you can enter comment.

One of the real keys here is that it needs to be relevant, so make sure you are posting to blogs in your niche… you don't want to be a spammer.

Explode Your MLM Online--The Wave Of The Future--Don't Be Left Behind!

MySpace, Friendster, Facebook , U-tube…the wave of the future is social networking! It's taking over the traditional methods of web marketing and if you're not in the game you'll be left behind.

In the print space MySpace, Friendster, and Facebook are the front runners with MySpace way out in the lead. But friends tell me that Facebook is fast catching up.

And then we move on to U-Tube and that's another game altogether. Video is here and it's now easy and U-Tube is a presence all on its own and deserves a whole book so I won't try to cover it here. But it's fast carving a presence that we won't be able to ignore.

Personally I still rely heavily on article writing and publishing to generate visitors interested in my topic, but I'm branching out into these networking arenas.

Social networking sites are still quite new and are a great place to promote your business but you need to do it in a professional way… after all, these sites are primarily about connecting with people and posting your profile, not for aggressively advertising your business via unsolicited messaging.

Lots of social network users are becoming wary of the practices of unscrupulous online business promotion, viewing it as the ultimate form of spam. They feel that the sanctity of their space is being invaded, just the way email has been.

If we want to make use of these sites to promote our own businesses then we need to find a way to get past this attitude. Acting responsibly is the answer.

Here are three things you can do:

1. Get Referrals:

Look for friends using these sites and ask them to refer you to their friends. If you come in via this door then you are much more welcome that if you bash the door down with spam.

2. Be willing to Go Slow:

Take your time. Gently ease yourself into the community, just like you would at a party where you are the stranger.

3. Put your best face on your Site:

Just like you would if you were showing up for a job interview… you'd dress appropriately and wear your best clothes.

Put a good quality picture on your profile. Nothing screams amateur like a poor quality, washed out, out of focus photo of you in your grungy clothes. If you can afford a professional shot then get one taken.

And do the best possible job you can on your template and layout presentation. The sites will offer some professional templates and if you can't afford a professional to set it up for you then take the time to learn how to do it yourself.

You will need more than the standard profile page if you hope to grab attention.

And don't overdo your business introduction.

4. Visit other people's sites and leave a greeting:

Connect with people with similar niches to yours and get yourself known… swap links by leaving comments on their sites and invite them to visit yours. Try to find groups that could become customers down the road.
Send them personal messages, thanking them for accepting you. Take note of their birthdays and send them birthday greetings… we all love to be recognized on our birthdays. Set up a tickler file to help you stay current with this. And just visit with them for the hell of it… you'll make a friend and somewhere down the line the business will flow.

This is pretty similar to the way you can establish your presence in Blogging or Chat sites. Over time you'll make your presence felt.

Build Your MLM Online--4 Surefire Ways to Grow Your List!

Your list is the backbone of your business… no list, no business! To build a list you need traffic… visitors to your website who subscribe to your list.

Traffic makes the Internet world go around!

To get traffic your visitors first need to find you in some way. When they find you there needs to be an opt-in box on your webpage that will allow them to subscribe and an autoresponder that will organize these respondents in to a list you can phone or email.

A high ranking on the search engines is one way to do this. If your listing shows in the first three pages of a Google search, then this is prime real estate… you have arrived. You will almost certainly have people clicking your link and visiting your webpage.

Here are some ways you can make this happen:

You can write articles on topics relevant to your business and publish them on article directories.

The article directories have extremely high Search Engine rankings because of the frequency and diversity of their new postings… the spiders love new material and lots of pages on a site.

You effectively get to ride on their back. I have had sites indexed in less that one day with only two articles posted on one directory. This is an amazingly powerful tool for getting traffic.

Why is that?

Because you get to put a resource box at the end of your article with your contact information advertising a free book or report. People who find your book description interesting will elect to subscribe to your list.

The second benefit is that these articles begin to grow exponentially (going viral we call it) as other Ezine publishers post your articles to their sites, complete with your resource box.

You can visit forum sites and make regular posts to appropriate threads.

When you post make sure to attach your resource box at the end of the post. If you become a regular visitor and other forum members find your posts valuable they will begin to click your link for your free material and will subscribe to your newsletter.

Sometimes they will forward your post to other friends and this technique goes viral too.

You may also want to consider exchanging links with some other reputable established sites whose content impresses you.

Back links add to your Search Engine ranking. Just try to make sure that the site you are exchanging links with has something that relates to your own site content.

Start a Blog

Just go to Blogger.com and start your own blog. It takes about five minutes. Post to your blog every day. Remember the spiders love fresh content. Post your articles and business commentaries and some personal information if you like.

Then visit other blogs in a similar space to your own and add comments to their posts. Ask them to visit your blog and post a comment and you have another backlink.

There are many more things you can do to expand you web presence and your prospect list.

Build Your MLM Online-Here's How To Use Email Marketing!

If you want to build your MLM online you are going to need to build your prospect list and then put them on your newsletter e-mailings.

One way to do this is to buy a list of auto-responder names from a list broker and send them a series of emails.

E-mail marketing is regarded as one of the pillars in the marketing arena having been in used for quite some time in thee marketing field and by most businessmen. Its undoubted capacity to generate positive results in the business made it one of the most significant online marketing tools.

However, with the advent of the Internet technology and the modernized ways of sending e-mails that solicit advertisements, many online users have been very cautious about receiving and opening e-mail from people they do not know.

Here are some pointers that will help to make your emails more deliverable:

a. Do not use words such as advertisements, sale, free, extra income, MLM or home business or similar words as your subject line. These are some of the most tracked subject lines that are being blocked by spam blocking programs. This also goes for the body of your e-mail.

c. Avoid putting graphics and animations on your marketing e-mails. Graphics and animated flash files can look professional but an email from a friend is more likely to be in text format. Besides that, since these graphic and animated files are way too big in terms of file size, it slows down the loading time. Your recipient may get frustrated and just close and delete you.

The best way I know to do this is to build your list on the internet.

You'll need a website, a landing page with opt-in box attached, an autoresponder and a free product to give away in exchange for people subscribing to your site.

I suggest you begin by writing articles to get your site indexed by the search engines. That's a whole topic in itself. If you click my link below you can download my free book on exactly how to do that.

Once you have your website and your autoresponder set up you need visitors to your site if you want to build your list.

One way to do that is to generates links. How many other websites are linked to you and how much traffic do those links produce for you are things that Google looks at when ranking your site.

When we speak of link popularity, it doesn't only mean linking your website to as many webpages as you can. They need to be targeted, relevant, quality links that produce traffic to your site.

Here are some things you can do to generate quality links.

1. Submit your articles to article directories.

Writing informative articles and submitting them to free article directories gives you credibility and creates a back link for your website. All you have to do is to include a link to your webpage in the resource box or transform one of your keywords into a hyperlink.

2. Comment on blogs.

This is free and can really add to your traffic. You'll find lots of great blogs that are relevant to your niche. Drop in once in a while and add interesting and useful comments. Don't forget to include your contact information or resource box so they can get back to you. This will increase your traffic and if your blog is part of Techorati it will be counted as your own backlink.

3. Join forums.

Search for forums that are related to your topic and add a link of your website in the signature file. To further increase traffic get involved in the discussion. You can offer your opinion or you can start your own thread by posting an article.

4. Syndicate your website.

If you have a blog, then better make sure that you're also providing your own XML or RSS feed. When readers believe in your content, they will include your feed into their website. Aside from backlinks, it means an increase in web traffic too.

If you're using Blogger.com to host your blog then it's easy... you just activate Atom Feed in your setup page.

5. Increase your blogroll.

Look for well-established blogs and ask if they will include yours in their blog links. You benefit from their link popularity and traffic. And of course courtresy demands that you add their link to your blog site.

6. Add fresh content daily.

Search engine spiders love fresh, keyword-rich content. The more often you update the more the spiders will visit.

Building on the internet adds a powerful tool to your MLM program.

Secrets Of Online MLM Success--How To Guarantee Your Business Explodes! A Step by Step Plan!

You want your business to explode? But you're afraid to approach your warm list?

So not much is happening? You're not approaching anyone? In fact you're pretty much treading water right now…?

You can certainly use pay-per-click or article marketing to create a stream of prospects to your website… but what if you're not totally computer and internet savvy… what are you going to do then?

Here's what you do… step by step… to create an explosion in your business!

You start leading with the product instead of the opportunity… but there's a trick to this and it takes a bit of lead time.

First you write a book on one of your products and offer it for free on your website! And don't panic! I'll show you a really easy way to do it.

People have an automatic respect for published authors. If you've written a book, people will take you seriously… you surely must be an expert if you're in print. All of a sudden their perceptions about you are changed. They want to read your book… especially if it's free!

Let's say you're in a health and wellness related MLM, which lots of us are.

You find the product in your product line that has the most sex appeal and you write a book on the subject.

Weight loss is big, big, big and you really should be grabbing onto this market if you can. But if you don't have a weight-loss product then go with whatever you've got or join an MLM that has one.

If none of your products are particularly sexy (I find most people can't really get excited about vitamins for instance and we end up beating a dead horse) then choose a product that is somehow related to "weight loss" or whatever else you can think of to add some excitement to your approach.

Let's go with the weight loss idea for now:

From here you create a sexy story about your product or about this ingredient in your vitamin/mineral line that really helps with weight loss.

Now here's your new approach. You say to anyone you come in contact with, warm or cold market:

"Hey John/Mary, did you know I'm in the weight loss business. I've written a book. It deals with the way that certain vitamins and minerals can really help to make weight loss easier. Everywhere I turn people seem to be looking for an easy way to lose weight. Do you know anyone who might like to lose the craving and drop a few pounds? Tell you what; why don't I email you the URL for my book."

So what can be sexy about vitamins?

Here's one great idea:

5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)

"Scientists believe that many humans are genetically predisposed to obesity. Brain serotonin levels seem to have a major influence. Serotonin tells us to stop eating after we are full. If we're down on serotonin, our brain does not tell us to stop eating. So we keep right on eating and gain a lot of weight."

"Serotonin in the brain is produced from 5- HTP. Animal studies show that supplementing with 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) turns off the craving for food."

Here's another one:

Chromium

Insulin insensitivity is considered by many modern scientists to be another major cause of obesity. Chromium plays a key role in increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Without chromium, insulin's action is blocked, blood sugar levels are elevated, and the sugars turn to fat instead of muscle and lean tissue.

Increase insulin sensitivity with a supplement rich in Chromium and you can help strip away that fat.

So what about that?

All of a sudden instead of that boring old vitamin line that nobody really wants to hear about, you have a sexy, little known supplement that can really help reduce hunger cravings.

Do your own research and you'll come up with lots of ideas. In fact I think it's such a great idea that I'm going to write a short book or a report on this very subject myself.

How do you write the book?

This is really simple… you just Google a phrase like "vitamins minerals weight loss" and you'll get 2 million hits. Browse the articles that are relevant, choose the parts you like and copy and paste them into a book. Then re-work the content so you're not lifting the authors phrasing directly and you've got your book. It can be as short as 10 pages of 12 point type in Microsoft Word… say about 3000 words. Try not to make it more than 20 pages. You want the reader to finish it.

Now you have broken the ice, your prospect knows you're in business and you can follow up. My number of warm market approaches exploded when I did this. There is virtually no rejection.

But I like to be hitting all the bases, so I'm still very active online too.

We all hate rejection. There's a part of our brain that does everything in its power to keep us from getting into situations where we might be rejected. Less than 5% of people are sales personalities. Sales people still hate rejection but they're not immobilized by it. The rest of us will do whatever it takes to avoid it.

So the typical route taken by most MLMers is to approach two people, get two rejections and quit. They're not weenies. They can't help it. When it comes to building a Network Marketing or MLM business people seem to naturally choose one of two approaches to build their downline according to personal preference and how they were first introduced to their opportunity.

There are two basic lines of attack as far as I can see:

1. Prospect with the business opportunity.

2. Prospect with the product.

Each of these has its own advantage and I used to be 100% focused on prospecting with the opportunity because I felt better about that. Recently I've begun prospecting with the product and I'm amazed at how easy it is. I use a combination of 100% internet, telephone cold calls plus sending them to a capture page on the internet, emails, phone or face to face with friends and associates then send them to a capture page and I also pass out business cards and flyers to strangers with my capture page URL attached.

The capture page offers a "Free Book"… in my case a book on a weight loss system.

Weight Loss is huge and I decided to grab a piece of it. The market is estimated at $50 billion per year. You will find that dieting and weight loss are the biggest searched items on the web after pornography and online dating.

Once they log into my webpage, give their contact information and get their free book my autoresponder then sends them a pre-written automated series of emails explaining in detail how the weight loss system works and how they can get their product for free by joining my MLM team and duplicating my system.

And then I show them how they can get started on building a huge business of their own

I supply all the books, emails and web copy so it's pretty much a turkey operation.

If you want really fast growth then the secret here is to be marketing a product that truly does deliver on its promises and is in a hot market with high demand. Your customers will purchase your product, use it and get the result they desire and be motivated customers for life. They will refer your product to others because of their own successful experience and they will join your business to make money from their referrals.

This process really does work and the approach is pretty much rejection free.

Lead with the business or lead with the product. What's best?

I used to be 100% focused on the business, leaving the product to take care of itself. But then over time I noticed how loyal our Preferred Customers were and how their contribution to bottom line continued to grow.

Secrets Of MLM Success--Build On The Internet-Get Fast Success Without Rejection! Here's how...

What's the easiest way to build a big Network Marketing/MLM business fast?

Use the internet to gather prospects, make presentations and do the follow-up for you.

You need to build a huge list of prospects… hundreds and then thousands and the internet is the most efficient way to do this.

But how exactly do you make that happen?

Here's what you do!

The first thing is to register a domain name (that's the URL for your website minus the www. and the .com parts at the front and back) and get a hosting account setup.

GoDaddy.com is as good a place as any to do this and the price is right.

Next you need to create and upload your capture page with opt-in form attached to your website. If you want to click my link below and register for my newsletter I'll send you some free software to do this. It's really easy to use.

You'll also need an auto-responder account. This is where you'll create your "Opt-in" form to insert in your webpage.

AWeber is a very professional auto-responder service and well priced too.

Your auto-responder will also send a timed series of follow-up emails to your visitors. The bad news is that you'll need to have a series of follow-up emails written. You can start with 5 emails but eventually you'll need 20. Make sure you provide lots of "how-to" content if you want your subscribers to remain loyal.

From time to time you will send out a broadcast email to your list with an offer of a "for sale" product they can buy from you. This is how you will begin to create the marketing budget you will need to help you grow faster via Pay-per-click and advertising.

And of course you'll need your free book-either one you wrote yourself or one you have a license to distribute. You offer this free gift on your webpage as an "thank you" gift for people who decide to subscribe to your list.

If you don't think you can write well enough, you can distribute one of my free books to anyone you like as long as you don't alter it and you leave the links intact. How do we get these prospects to visit our site?

Of these, Pay-per-click is probably the easiest and fastest but also can become very expensive. Article writing on the other hand is virtually cost free once you have your website and auto-responder set up, but unfortunately is slower to get started and requires quite a lot of focus and commitment. But the prospects from article marketing will be the best you'll ever get… except for your Mum and your brother-in-law.

Secrets Of MLM Success: Use the Internet To Easily Enroll Strangers Into Your MLM Business.

Sometimes we meet someone who we know has the personality to be great in our business… but we're afraid of the rejection if we approach them.

Why not combine face to face and the internet and expand your toolkit.

Here's the scenario:

You're standing in line at Starbucks. A really sharp person is standing in the line in front of you or behind. They look like they'd be great in your business.

What are you going to do?

Well if you want to add a lot of prospects to your list you better show up with your gun loaded for bear. The most efficient process, time wise, will be to send this person to your webpage to get your free book. You want to do everything you can to take the stress out of the situation for yourself and you and to make it easy for the person to say "Sure, give me your card or website".

So you will need to have your webpage with your opt-in form already active on the net. You'll also need an autoresponder account and a series of follow-up emails written. And of course you'll need your free book-either one you wrote yourself or one you have a license to distribute. For instance you can distribute my free book to anyone you like as long as you don't alter it and you leave the links intact. It will get you started until you make your own. Click my link below to get a copy.

Don't panic that most of these prospects won't actually visit your site. How many actually show for a meeting anyway? The ones that do enroll for the free book will be highly qualified.

You can of course ask for their card and phone them in a few days if they don't show up at your autoresponder… but if you want to work mostly online then just approach them, give them the website and move on.

Here's how you approach them. Shoot the breeze for a few moments and then just say:

"I've started a new business I'm really excited about and I'm looking for a new partner to work with. I think you could be really successful. You have a great personality (or whatever is appropriate). It's a Network Marketing business. Let me ask you a question: Are you at a time in your life where a Home Based Business could be a good fit for you?"

You'll get a lot of "no interest" responses, but more people than you imagine will be interested.

If they show some interest just say:

"I have a free book you can download from my website about how it all works and how you could participate. Here's my card; the website is on there. Take a look and call me if you have questions."

Sure a few of them will blow you off, but most of them will be polite. After a few tries you'll be way more confident.

If they say: "Network Marketing… isn't that a pyramid like Amway or something?" you can decide whether to continue the conversation or not. If they get on their high horse and try to put you down, let them go. You don't need people like that in your life. They only react like that because they have self esteem issues and you have wounded their vanity by not realizing that they're way too important to do "something like that". Feel amused by their little personality weakness… then get them out of your life ASAP. They'll poison your dream.

And then get back to business as usual!

I think in MLM it's best to have as many things as possible working for you. The Internet is a great tool for building a list of prospects.

Secrets of MLM Success--How To Deal With The Big Question: "Is This A Pyramid Like Amway?"

When it comes to prospecting for MLM most of us are scared of the "what is it?" or "is this MLM" question.

Just knowing that question is lurking in the background waiting to pounce is enough to cripple us totally or at least turn us into stumbling idiots tripping over our own words.

Ever been there? I certainly have.

So what's the answer?

The answer is deceptively simple. Just don't put yourself in the situation where that question can arise!

How to do that?

There's a couple of ways:

The first is to prospect 100% online. If you want to learn how to do that just click my link below and get my free book and I'll show you.

The second is to tell them what it is upfront; just don't use the curiosity approach!

I know… I know! Your sponsor and all those other gurus have been telling you to absolutely not come out and say it's MLM or Network Marketing. But if you're not making those approach calls anyway because you're immobilized by fear, then what have you got to lose?

I believe the secret to MLM Success to go fast by starting slowly.

How does that work?

Don't rush out and start calling your list and try to hide from them the fact that this is MLM. Warm them up first. It is MLM! Don't hide it. Either tell them upfront or be totally ready to tell them it's Network marketing if they ask.

People hate to feel they've been tricked.

There's nothing to be ashamed of about MLM. It's a great business. It's the curiosity approach that makes people angry, so don't feel you have to use it.

Here's what you do:

Make a list of all your family and close friends and simply tell them casually in conversation: "Hey, you know what I'm really excited about. I've started a new home based business. There are lots of tax breaks and the chance to make a lot of money. I think this can really put us on the road financially… I'll let you know how it goes".

And then swing the conversation back to them: "So what have you been up to?"

That's it! Don't say anymore about your business unless they ask questions.

Some will ask you questions and some won't.

Let your answers be really low key.

And this is critical…

Absolutely do not jump in and ask if they'd be interested in looking at "your" business until they really put it out there that they are looking for something! You opened the door. Wait for them to walk through and then give them the information they ask for.

Over time keep them informed of your progress. Just casually drop it into the conversation. One thing I like to do is to ask their advice on something. Maybe something like: "Are you any good at writing? I wonder would you mind looking over something I've written". And just let it roll from there.

You'll be amazed how easily it will flow given some lead time.

I think in MLM it's best to have as many things as possible working for you. The Internet is a great tool for building a list of prospects.

Secrets Of MLM Success: How To Give A Powerful One-On-One Presentation That Really Gets Results!

When you first sit down with your prospects remember this:

"It's not about you, it's all about them."

So give them just the bare minimum introduction about yourself and why you're there.

Something like:

"Hey, thanks for fitting me into your schedule. I know you're busy. I'm really excited about what I'm going to show you tonight/today. It's totally changing my financial future."

You then ask them some questions about who they are; what they do; what challenges life may be throwing up for them etc.

I've written another article that covers these questions in depth: "Secrets Of MLM Success: Seven Powerful Questions That Will Explode Your Enrollments!" You can Google it if you want more information on what to ask.

Only after you feel you know why they are looking at your business do you get to show them your presentation.

Here are some hints:

* Don't make it too long.

* Don't get into too much detail.

* Don't get hung up on the compensation plan (unless you've got an information hound).

* Just briefly show them retail profits, recruitment, commissions on downline sales and realistically how much they can expect to make in six months, a year etc. if they put in the time and effort.

* Show them the big picture too but don't frighten them off with numbers they don't yet believe they can achieve.

As you go along make sure to draw them in with questions:

"Do you see how that works?"

"Do you see how this could help you solve … (recap one of their needs here)?"

Then you Wrap Up:

"So that's how it works… what benefits do you see here for yourself?"

Here's where you ask for Questions:

"Do you have any questions?"

Answer the question and then say:

"OK! And other than that is there anything else you'd like to know?"

Answer all of their questions and then ask the enrollment question:

Enrollment: This is really simple… you just flow into it.

"Great, if you don't have any more question then let's get you started."

Pull out your enrollment form, pick up your pen and ask:

"OK, let's start at the top. What's the correct spelling of your first name?"

If it hasn't come up before, you can just about bet the question of "How much will it cost?" is going to come up here.

Answer the question, explain the options and ask: "Which one of those options seems most appropriate for you?"

You just keep looping back here; as the last minute questions come up, you answer them and go right back to the paper work.

Do it this way and you'll sign up a lot of people!

One on one presentations are very powerful but we want to incorporate all the tools we possibly can to achieve big success in our MLM business. Often people who work in the warm market neglect to harness the power of the internet. Using the internet to generate leads can really up your game.

Secrets Of MLM Success: Seven Powerful Questions That Will Explode Your Enrollments!

Here's the first rule of making a presentation

"Your prospect doesn't really care about you."

All those people in the cars around you in the traffic… do you think they're thinking about you? Not a chance! They're totally focused on themselves and their own lives. They don't even know you exist.

So don't talk about yourself. Just give them the bare minimum introduction about yourself and why you're there.

Something like:

"Hey, thanks for fitting me into your schedule. I know you're busy. I'm really excited about what I'm going to show you tonight/today. It's totally changing my financial future."

Often the first few minutes of a meeting can be awkward… neither of you knows what to say. You're afraid of rejection and they don't know if they can quite trust what you're going to tell them.

You shouldn't work from a script, that can make you stiff and unnatural, but an outline of how the meeting will proceed can create a lot of comfort for everyone.

You need to qualify your prospect. Is this someone you really want to work with?

Asking questions puts you in control of the meeting and puts your prospect at ease because they are talking about themselves.

So having a prepared series of questions really helps to smooth the way. You can even have them on a questionnaire form if you like which you fill out while you're there. Lots of professional sales people gather information this way. Look what happens to you at the bank.

Here are some of the questions I ask:

1. "I've been wondering about you guys. Can I ask why you decided to take a look at this program?"

After they answer you congratulate them and ask your next question.


2. "Wow! That's really interesting. You know, if you don't mind, it would be helpful to me if I could understand a little more about your situation. May I ask you some questions?"

Then you ask: "You said that the reason you decided to look at this program was because… (repeat what they told you). What did you mean by that?"


3. And next the money question:

"Are you completely satisfied with the amount of money you're making right now?"

"Why do you say that?"

"What monthly income would make your life more comfortable?"

4. Freedom:

"Do you feel you are getting enough free time to be with your family and do the things you really enjoy?"

"Gee, that's a lot of hours at work. Do you see that changing?

"How do you feel about the commute?"


5. The job:

"What are you working at now?"

"How long have you been doing that?"

And then no matter if it's a long time or a short time you say:

"So you must really like what you do?"

"Oh! What exactly don't you like about your work?"

6. The first commitment question.

Here we get them to begin taking ownership of how your business could offer a solution to their problems.

"You said you would like more: money, time, freedom, security, job satisfaction, time for golf, money for education etc… "

Try to repeat back to them here the exact words they used to answer your questions… it's very powerful to do this.

"So if you could find a way to have that, would you find that attractive?"


7. This is the most important question of all.

Here we get them to take even more ownership of how your opportunity can give them what they want.

"If I can demonstrate to you that my company's business opportunity will solve all of the issues you have expressed to me today, are you ready to make a serious commitment and get started?"

The odds of them saying yes to this question are extremely high and if they do, the odds of them joining your business (if you want them) are extremely high too.

Finally… you get to show them your presentation.

But you've really prepared the ground and they will most likely be very receptive.

Secrets Of MLM Success: How To Dramatically Increase Enrollments From One-On-One Presentations!

The biggest untold secret of your one-on-one presentation
is this:

"It's not what you say or how you say it… it's all about
what the prospect says."

A one-on-one presentation is not a performance. You are
not the important player at the table. Most of the time
your prospects are thinking about their own lives and how
they will work out. It's a huge ego blow I know… but they
don't really care about you… or your success or failure.

Your prospect wants to know the answer to this simple
question:

"What's in it for me?"

The more your prospect talks about themselves, their
hopes, their fears, their dreams, the more chance you have
of enrolling them.

So here's the most important thing you do at a presentation:

"You ask your prospect questions about themselves!" You
interview them… and you listen!

If you have a road map to follow in the early minutes of
getting together with them, if you know exactly where
you're going with the interview, there won't be any
awkwardness to deal with. You won't be nervous… you'll be
professional and in control. You will run the meeting… not
them.

So have your questions prepared in advance.

When you first sit down with your prospect remember it's
not about you, so give them just the bare minimum about
yourself. Something like:

"Hey, thanks for fitting me into your schedule. I know
you're busy. I'm really excited about what I'm going to
show you tonight/today. It's totally changing my financial
future."

And then ask your first question!

Don't get nervous or impatient. Don't jump right into your
presentation here. You need to find out all about your
prospect first, so you know what parts of the presentation
to emphasize.

This is the meeting and greeting part of the presentation
and even if you're in the prospects home it's your
responsibility to put everyone at ease.

Asking questions and letting the prospect talk about
themselves is the best way to do this.

I have done thousands of presentations for all types of
sales businesses and I have found always, that once I get
the prospect to open up about themselves, their successes,
their hopes and dreams that I have made a new friend.

Rarely does a person get the chance to talk about
themselves to someone whose only interest is to listen
without interrupting. When you do this for someone you are
giving them a rare gift.

And remember: whoever asks the last question is in control
of the conversation, so always end a statement with a
question. That way you don't get caught in a corner by
questions you don't know how to answer… especially if
you've done a curiosity approach.

So if your prospect winds down after answering your
question you say: "Wow, that's, great. What did you do
next?" or whatever else is appropriate at the time.

This business is all about bonding. Once you've created a
friendship you're well on the way to trust.
